Shane Mclntyre

A Sydney boy from a dancing family, he was first involved in dance pre teens, eventually as an adult became serious about dance and after competing for many years in various styles decided to make dance a profession.

He spent 11 years living in Denver Colorado, pefecting his craft while in the USA where he became a Nationally renowned dancer and instructor teaching, competing & performing not only across America but the UK, Sth America, NZ & Australia.

Back residing in Australia running several very popular dance venues as well as teaching and performing throughout Australia & America. Shane successful career has been dancing at Invitation/Champions & Allstar levels, Classic & Sophisticated

Routine divisions with many “top 5” placements.

Also he has won many “top teacher” and “ProfessoinalAM” awards nationally & internationally at many country and swing events.

The last 10 years as a couple Keri & Shane have placed 2nd multiple times at THE OPEN the most prestigious west coast swing event, the Opus/World titles.

Globally thus they are now one of the most successful dance couples in the world in their division and continuing sharing their knowledge.

Started with Keri and Shane after spending a few months at another company. Keri jumped in and started our routine for our first dance right away, with Shane taking over during Christmas. Happy, friendly, and incredible people.

Me and my fiancee came to Shane Keri dance studio for our weddign first dance, we are so lucky about it, such a professional and people. We are so ready for our first dance and with a lot of energy and practice behind. 4 sessions took us to learn more than 4 min of dance with 2 different type of music which is very hard to do it. Highly recommend it!!!

Shane was amazing! He choreographed a really great routine in a short amount of time. Both myself and my partner have no dance experience but he made it so that we could do the routine but still added some cool steps. He was very friendly as well and going to the lessons was a lot of fun. Highly recommend SK Dance Studio for anyone and everyone.

My partner and I are both 21 and decided to take up West Coast Swing to improve our fitness careers – MMA & Body Building. We’ve learnt so much about how important foot work, rhythm, stability and mind-body connection is. We love our classes with Shane & Keri! Keri was such a wonderful dance teacher. My partner and I are definitely not dancers and we were very nervous about doing a first dance. From our very first lesson Keri made us feel so comfortable. We ended up loving our dance lessons and looked forward to it every week leading up to our wedding. We had the most fun and all our guests loved it! Our dance made for a very memorable wedding. We cannot recommend Keri highly enough!!
